The John Crane Type 2100 is a robust, unitized elastomer-bellows mechanical seal engineered for demanding fluid-handling applications.
At the heart of its design is a non-clogging, single-coil spring that maintains face loading under all operating conditions. The innovative bellows is pressure-supported, preventing collapse or folding at high pressures.
A positive drive mechanism using interlocking tangs ensures the rotary face tracks accurately with the shaft, avoiding slippage during system upsets.
